Privacy Policy

Who we are

Pulse is a product of Lucrum. When this policy says "Pulse," "we," "us," or "our," it means Lucrum operating the Pulse service.

What data we collect

To provide the Pulse service, we collect and work with the following types of data:

  • Google account information — your Google Business Profile account name and business location(s), accessed through Google OAuth.
  • Google review data — reviewer names, star ratings, and review text from your Google Business Profile.
  • Customer email addresses — contact information you provide or upload for sending review request campaigns.
  • Chatbot conversation logs — messages exchanged between your website visitors and the Pulse AI chatbot, including questions asked and appointments booked.
  • Account information — your name and email address used to log in to the Pulse dashboard.

How we use your data

All data Pulse collects is used solely to provide you with the Pulse service. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Display your Google reviews inside your Pulse dashboard and on your website widget.
  • Generate AI-written reply responses to your Google reviews and post them on your behalf.
  • Send review request emails to your customers.
  • Answer visitor questions and book appointments through the AI chatbot on your website.
  • Communicate with you about your account.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party — ever.

Google OAuth and your permissions

Pulse connects to your Google Business Profile through Google's standard OAuth process. You explicitly authorize this connection. Through that authorization, Pulse accesses:

  • Your Google Business Profile account name and locations
  • Your Google reviews (reviewer name, star rating, and review text)
  • The ability to post reply responses to reviews on your behalf

We access Google data only to the extent necessary to provide Pulse features. We do not read, store, or use any other data from your Google account.

You can revoke Pulse's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page and removing Pulse from the list of connected apps.

Where data is stored

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the database is restricted to authorized Pulse systems and personnel only.

Your customers' data

When you upload customer email addresses for review request campaigns, you are responsible for having the appropriate permission to contact those individuals. By providing customer data to Pulse, you confirm you have a legitimate basis to send them email communications.

We process your customers' data only as needed to deliver the service you've requested, and we never use it for our own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your Pulse account is active. If you cancel, we will delete your data within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To do so, email pulsewithlucrum@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or through your Pulse dashboard. Continued use of Pulse after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
